Siemens is hiring an IT Applications Support Professional for its Global Business Services unit in Bangalore to provide comprehensive first and second-line (L1/L2) application support for global business suites. This multi-faceted operational role functions on the front lines of infrastructure stabilization, workflow governance, and tech transformation. Beyond standard incident troubleshooting, you will own workflow data request validations, track system vulnerabilities, administer server cryptographic certificate renewals, and manage user training frameworks. Furthermore, you will act as a pipeline scout to isolate repetitive operational bottlenecks, mapping out structured business use cases ready for automated workflow implementations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related engineering or quantitative technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of professional experience operating inside an IT application support desk, infrastructure helpdesk, or an equivalent technical operations role.
- Proven ability to provide primary and secondary triage for enterprise software applications—diagnosing bugs, documenting detailed resolutions, and managing structural escalation loops.
- Direct familiarity tracking, logging, and prioritizing incidents inside strict corporate SLAs to minimize downstream business disruption.
- Analytical capability to systematically review, validate, and process complex inbound data requests within internal workflow tools, ensuring absolute adherence to corporate compliance metrics.
- Foundational understanding of standard network and server security concepts, with the capacity to track, document, and coordinate remediation timelines for application and system vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with public key infrastructure (PKI) or certificate management protocols to monitor, update, and renew file server cryptographic certificates, guaranteeing zero continuity dropouts.
- Strong analytical instinct to identify manual, repetitive backend processes and formalize documented business use cases ready for automation script or RPA deployments.
- Organization skills to schedule end-user training sessions, update user procedures, design/distribute customer satisfaction surveys, and perform root-cause analysis on user feedback trends.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, a highly structured approach to technical documentation (FAQs and runbooks), multitasking capacity in a dynamic site environment, and a deep user-centric commitment to service excellence.
